You love it or loathe it, the Candy Crush Soda Saga addiction makes you give up on everything else in life until it gets to a point where moving to that next level means giving up on your sleep and meals. It’s absolutely mind-numbing until it gets to a point where you would wish to flush your phone and escape into another world.
What’s worse? The addiction of this game is contagious. It has resulted in people not being able to focus on meetings and burnt meals because even mums couldn’t focus elsewhere. What’s next? Your friends abandoning you because you won’t stop requesting for lives they’re clueless about.
Sprinkle Bombs, Striped Candies, Gummi Fish.
Welcome to the addictive world of Candy Crush Soda Saga. It will take you to the point where the only candies you can relate to link back to this saga. Take your addiction to another level through these lesser known tricks!
1. No Waiting Time to Earn Lives
We know the game is addictive, but that’s not all. It’s hell time consuming as well. You’d not even realize how quickly hours flow beyond your control.
Getting over the addiction is probably not possible at this point, but you can easily skip the misery of waiting to get back to playing the game again.
If you wish to nab free lives, go to the settings of your device and push the Date and Time settings ahead. Woohoo, you enter into the future!
2. The Soda Stage
Focus on the soda bottles. The target here is to get a certain number of soda bottles and voila! But it isn’t as simple as it sounds. You’ll come across levels where the soda bottles are hard to reach and awfully difficult to match. Striped candies and Gummi fish are helpful weapons that will come to your rescue.
This stage is far less complicated if only you avoid wasting your moves. Hunt for a combination of soda bottles until you get further.
3. Frozen Bears to the Rescue
Those poor bears trapped under the layers of ice can really test your patience. The strategy is to be able to save moves in such a way that you’re only aiming at rescuing the bears. These bears will be scattered all over the tile and you’ll only discover them once you break the first level of ice. There’s a trap here, don’t fall for where the gummi fish take you. The packaged candy bombs can come to your rescue if you use them wisely.
4. Ace the Bubble Levels
You see the candy string necklace? In the Bubble levels, you need to bring your bears above those. Just like the soda levels, you’ll have to destroy the soda bottles along with bringing a certain number of bears above the string in the playfield. The Bubble levels are comparatively easier to pass.
5. The Chocolate Levels
Here starts the real challenge. You might end up hating chocolate for the rest of your life while playing Candy Crush Soda Saga.
Difficulty number one, you’ll have very limited moves. The chocolates will keep multiplying and you’ll have to remove them in those limited moves. If you’re not able to erase a chocolate square, the difficulty keeps getting higher until it gets to your nerves.
To maintain your sanity, do not play a move unless it’s not a strategic one. Wait till you discover a way to remove a chocolate square.
6. The Honey Game
Gummy bears inside honey blocks might seem exciting, but don’t get carried away. It’s similar to the frosted levels, so being strategic is the way to escape out of these. Varying from one to six (tough luck!), the layers of honey have different thicknesses. It’s certainly a level not meant for those who make moves with a thick mind.
7. The Bubblegum Mania
Embrace yourself, because things will get tougher. This is more like the chocolate level, but the difficult keeps getting higher. If you don’t want a new bubblegum block to spawn on your field, destroy a block in each move. Practice the chocolate levels more to discover strategic moves for eating up the bubblegum.
The Candy Crush Soda Saga is eye catchy, vibrant and a lot of fun. However, the addiction can really test your patience. A lot of strategies of Candy Crush Saga can easily be applied here. The levels seem never ending, so I don’t see anyone reaching far without having an amazing level of persistence. The thoughtless matching of pieces would certainly not work in the long run!
